CNS CONFERENCE - ST.JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK, JUNE 2007
Newman Hattersley was proud to sponsor the NAYGN Luncheon at the CNS Conference which took place from Sunday, June 3rd through to Wednesday, June 6th in St. John, New Brunswick.

This annual conference gathers together scientists, engineers, technologists and students interested in all aspects and applications of energy from the atom. The central objective of this conference is to provide a forum for exchange of views on how this technical enterprise can best serve the needs of humanity, now and in the future.

Newman Hattersley also had a display at the event and Lorraine Wiseman, Michael Krause, Aruna Adhya and Virginia Mubarek of NHL were pleased to have the opportunity to interact with many members of the Canadian Nuclear Society that were in attendance. CHINA - 7TH INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EXHIBITION, SHANGHAI, APRIL 2007
Newman Hattersley along with CCI Nuclear Division and Thompson Valves was pleased to participate in the 7th International Exhibition on Nuclear Power Industry 2007 taking place from April 23rd to April 25th in Shanghai, China.

This event is China’s leading biennial trade exhibition for the Chinese nuclear power industry. Since its inception in 1995 in Beijing, the number of exhibitors and floor spaces has continuously grown.  The event is dedicated to fostering and promoting interactive dialogue amongst all innovative suppliers, service providers, policy decision-makers, end-users and nuclear power officials. It is also a platform through which to deliver the latest information, visions and industry knowledge.  CCI was proud to be one of over 200 exhibitors from over 20 countries including a number of national pavilions.  Within our CCI booth itself, we had representatives from all over the world including China, Korea, Germany, Switzerland, France, Japan, US, Canada and the UK. CNA INDUSTRY SEMINAR and WIN (Women in Nuclear) MEETING, FEBRUARY 2007
Newman Hattersley was pleased to participate in CNA's Annual seminar. Lorraine Wiseman was asked to speak at the Annual Women in Nuclear meeting and addressed the topic of Leadership in the Nuclear Industry.

The Canadian Nuclear Association (CNA) is a non-profit organization established in 1960 to represent the nuclear industry in Canada and promote the development and growth of nuclear technologies for peaceful purposes.
